rebuild of a timber frame
structure was my creative outlet
for a few years until completion.
Eclectic, retro, non toxic and
energy efficient, the home was
a standout in green building
tours for several years. You'll
be surprised at every corner!
You have 3 bedrooms plus 2
lofts. With other pieces it sleeps
14. Features include a big
country kitchen, 2 bathrooms
and huge living area. A scenic
mountain lake with swimming
beach and canoing is only 10
minutes away.

“What a unique and rustic home!
Our extended family of nine spent
two days at Thomas’ Rustic Ski
Haus during our annual pilgrimage
to Tanglewood for the 4th of July.
The place has plenty of character,
vintage decor and fun loft spaces
for the kids to explore. We were
somewhat apprehensive of the
lack of air conditioning in mid-
summer but once the windows
and skylights open up the house
cools down nicely in the evenings.
We took advantage of the nice big
deck and propane grill and all had
a wonderful time. Thanks

celebrating a surprise birthday
party there, and the house was
able to easily accommodate 11 of
us. The interior design is beautiful
and the location is great if you
want to visit Jiminy Peak Mountain
Resort. There is also a lovely
bookstore down the road that is a
total treasure. I would book this
place again.”
Rate is $195 per night for 6
people with no added fees.
Add $15 per additional
person up to a house total
of 12. 3 night minimum.
